AV女优的入行，大多也是经过星探的发掘，与各家公司签立正式合同，然后由公司来安排她们的演出。在演出之前，她们会得到一张表格，上面写着各种在AV中有可能产生的行为，大约有30到40项之多，各个项目分的十分详细，也都非常的正规,AV女优们要做的就是在每一项后面打勾或是打叉，表明自己能否接受该项行为。这些项目大概有：各种捆绑的方式，发生性行为，使用安全套，接吻，颜射，甚至还有黄色笑话等等，条目非常多，涉及到了每一种AV类型的各个细节。AV女优根据自己能接受程度填写表格，交给公司以后，公司会根据你的表格内容来给女优们具体安排影片的内容，一般不会出现让女优们无法接受的场面。这张表格的每一项条目后面会标明接受该行为所得到的酬金，越是不容易的项目，酬金自然也就越高。大家都能接受的，例如讲黄色笑话，所得的酬劳就很低，也只有150日圆。根据这个表格可以判断出每位女优拍摄一部片子所得到的酬劳基本上折合人民币在4000元左右。好一点的女优们在公司的拍片数量一般是每月4到5部.AV女优，在日本算是个比较特殊的群体，它们的工作往往游走与道德与非道德之间，受着一些人的非议，但更多的是受到人们的欢迎。她们的出现，无论是民风所致还是社会需求，都是在社会中合理合法的存在着。

记得川岛和津实成为传说中的AV神话，其中的原因除了它拍AV的目的是为了供男友上大学以外，她的人品和作风受到了人们的称赞，戏里戏外始终保持着纯洁清新的形象，没有任何不良嗜好。可惜的是，她早早退役，一心相夫教子远离了AV行当。现在的AV市场，从业者的目的变的更加现实。很多女孩子经不住利益的诱惑走上AV之路。她们想一夜成名，步入辉煌。并且一旦成名，她们本人的社会认可度会相当的高。若是学生，她们会在学校引起不小的轰动；若是办公室的文员，她们甚至有可能得到升迁的机会。在现实社会中的很多机构能够给她们提供成为著名AV女优的机会。高树玛利亚，是我最推崇的女优，清纯系，是2003年全日本唯一一位被评为五星级的女优。当然她也是在拍摄了15部作品以后毅然退役，转向了一些日本深夜剧的拍摄，给我们留下遗憾。但凡事有例外，小泽圆就是一个典型。小泽圆出身大富之家，本人善于打排球，并弹得一手好钢琴。她入行AV的理由竟是兴趣所至，纯属好奇。情况实属怪异，同行中不多见

很多人认为，日本是个男权极重的社会，女性在社会生活中没有丝毫地位，女性为了在社会上出人头地，就必须用各种方式取悦男人，而最好的方法就是成为一名AV女优。然而当今的日本社会，这种看法却是完全不能立足的。在AV影片中，我们往往看到的是一个个美丽清纯的女优被一个个相貌无比丑陋的男优蹂躏的景象，但事实上，在拍摄的过程中，女优和男友的关系却是比较友好的。在拍摄以前，他们多数有比较友善的个人交往，有相互熟悉的过程。
